Jain Derasar Pratistha Ceremony at One Avighna Park
The recently hosted Shri Munisuvrat Swami Shikhar Baddha Jain Derasar Pratishtha Ceremony at One Avighna Park premises, Lower Parel (E) was a majorly successful event. Avighna India’s Chairman Shri Kailash Agarwal, Managing Director Mr. Nishant Agarwal and their family, self-funded and conducted the nine-day event, from 15th January 2018 to 23rd January 2018, under the divine blessings of Param Pujya Shri Naypadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb and Param Pujya Maynasriji Maharaj Saheb. All the vidhis and prayers were conducted under the expert guidance of renowned Vidhikar Shri Narendra Nanduji.
Shri Munisuvrat Swami Jain Derasar:
The Shri Munisuvrat Swami Jain Derasar at One Avighna Park Premises is a Shikharbadh Jinalaya and has been completed in a record breaking time of six months. As per Jain Cosmology, Swami Munisuvrat is the 20th Jain Tirthankara. He is dark-complexioned, his insignia is a tortoise and he is worshipped by Lord Shani himself. Along with Mulnayak Shri Munisuvrat Swami, the idols of Shri Seemandharswami, Shree Adinath Bhagwan, Shree Parshavnath Bhagwan, Shree Vasupujyaswami, Shri Pundarikswami, Shree Gautamswami, Shree parshavyaksha, Shri Padmavati Devi, Shri Ghantakarnvir/Shri Buddhisagarsuri and Shri Nakoda Bhairav are pratisthit at the Jain Derasar too. We also have an Upashraya in our vicinity to facilitate religious activities for worshippers.
On 15th January, the Pravesh ceremony was carried on. Param Pujya Shri Naypadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb and Mulnayak Bhagwan Shri Munisuvrat Swami Ji were grandly welcomed during this event. On 18th Jan, Chyawan Kalyanak Vidhaan was held in the early morning, followed by grand functions of Gaon Sanji and Mehendi ceremony in the evening. More than 1500 ladies took part in the event and were completely engrossed in God’s devotion.
On 19th January, the Janm Kalnayak Vidhan was conducted when we witnessed the birth of God. The ones who got a chance to represent the Holy Divine’s family members were: Mata-Pita (Mr. and Mrs. Raju Solanki), Indra-Indrani (Mr. and Mrs. Roshan Jain), Mama-Mami (Mr.and Mrs. Jigar Sheth), Bhua-Bhurosa (Mr. and Mrs. Bhavesh Shah), Priyamvada (Mrs. Richa Shah), and Saas-Sasurji (Mr.and Mrs.Pritam Punamiya). Following this, important Pujan rituals also took place that included 14 Swapna Darshan, 56 Dikkumarika Mahotsav, Indra Mahotsav, Sughosa Ghantnad and Merushekhar par 250 Abhishek. This was followed by an Abhishek conducted by Mr. Kailash Ji Agarwal and family, and other One Avighna Park residents.
On 21st January, South Mumbai witnessed one of the biggest Varghoda procession with more than 2500 people joining us. The crowd was ecstatic to be a part of the Lord’s Pratistha Mahotsav and delightedly danced in musical reverberance of Puneri Dhols, Nashik Dhols and Tashas. There were 20 Baghis at the event and the entire Lalbaugh area was amazed to see such a wonderful crowd. From children to septuagenarians, every single person in the procession took part with extreme enthusiasm. On the same night, we celebrated the process of Gulal Bandholi. The devotees danced and played with Gulal and showed their devotion for the Lord.
Finally, the day that we had been waiting for so long had arrived. On 22nd January, Param Pujya Shri Naypadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb carried on the AnjanShalaka Vidhi for the whole night on Mulnayak Bhagwan Shri Munisuvrat Swami Ji and in the afternoon, at the auspicious time of 12.21 p.m., Mangal Pratistha was done. Finally, Shri Munisuvrat Swami Shikhar Baddha Jain Derasar Pratistha Ceremony at One Avighna Park came to an end amid much reverence and enthusiasm from devotees. There was an overwhelming response from more than 35,000 devotees from all across Mumbai, who attended and participated in this religious event and made it a grand success.
At present, Shri Munisuvrat Swami Shikhar Baddha Jain Derasar is functional and open for all devotees across Mumbai. Mulnayak Bhagwan Shri Munisuvrat Swami Ji has spread immense positivity at One Avighna Park, among us and all its residents, and we hope that the same positivity is bestowed upon us.
